There is no public statement from the Indonesian government to openly support PRC’s leadership in UN Agencies. The extends of support is that Indonesia and China co-hosting meeting on UN peacekeeping together on Triangular Formula Meeting on Training, Capacity Building, Safety and Security, and Performance of UN Peacekeeping at the UN's headquarters in New York, 2019. There is, however, Indonesia's concern toward PRC claims on the South China Sea and in the UN fora, state its position based on UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, which is not in line with China's claim.
