Many Taiwanese media would censor themselves on topics that might be critical to the Chinese government in order to receive contracts of embedded advertisement or for their benefits in China. Some pro-China media were already exposed of their illegal embedded advertisements from the Chinese government sectors. Want Want China, the subsidiary company of Want Wang Group, received high subsidy from the Chinese government. Both TVBS and China Times have been invested by oversea Chinese fund or bought by pro-Chinese business. Even the media with stronger Taiwanese identity, they still need to surrender to the business opportunities on advertisements, capitals and release market and censor themselves. The Taiwanese media have to compromise on the content of the news and programs. For instance, in 2009, the management level of Formosa TV refused to brought and broadcast 10 Conditions of Love, the documentary film of exile Uyghur leader Rebiya Kadeer. In 2012, SET News Channel closed down the popular political commentary show “Talking Show", reportedly due to the pressure from the National Radio and Television Administration in China. In 2009 to 2014, the news coverage of Tiananmen Massacre in SET News has apparently declined. In the 2020 Country Report on Human Rights Practices of US States Department, officials in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) influenced Taiwan media outlets through pressure on the business interests of their parent companies in the PRC. Taiwan journalists reported difficulty publishing content critical of the PRC, alleging that PRC authorities had pressured Taiwan businesses with operations in China to refrain from advertising with Taiwan media outlets which published such material. To punish Taiwan media outlets deemed too critical of PRC policies or actions, the PRC would subject their journalists to heightened scrutiny at Chinese ports of entry or deny them entry to China. PRC actors also targeted the computers and mobile phones of Taiwan journalists for cyberattacks.

• Astro is the member of the Belt and Road Media Community, therefore it is more likely that their TV channels do not publish/telecast news/updates which are critical to PRC. …Chinese officials have also recently indicated a willingness to interfere in domestic Malaysian affairs to defend the diaspora. In response to pro-government protests that denounced ethnic-Chinese Malaysian leaders in 2015, China’s ambassador warned that China would not sit on the sidelines if others infringed “on the national interest of China.” Pro-China tycoons also own large portions of Malaysia’s Chinese-language media. For example, the Star newspaper, owned by the MCA, has sought to curry favor with the CCP by regularly praising Chinese officials. Link Malaysian journalist charged over China coronavirus posts Link

Though there have been constant accusations (article 1) that the Moon government is restricting free speech through the legislation of several fake news-related bills, Korea was still ranked #1 (article 2) in Asia in freedom of speech. I don’t think there are overt censoring that takes place, but I would be surprised if there is absolutely no implicit pressure from senior members of media groups and the government. It would be hard to locate hard evidence of the existence of such pressure. Amid heightened anti-China sentiment in Korea, there have been a lot of media reports (article 3) critical of the Chinese government and China in general, so there isn’t any widespread, active censoring of anti-Chinese gov’t reporting.

There was a report by the SCMP that the Lianhe Zaobao took down a report critical of the PRC's wolf warrior diplomacy. According the to the SCMP: Chu’s comments were first reported on July 15 by Lianhe Zaobao, a Chinese-language daily newspaper in Singapore, and were widely picked up by local and foreign media outlets in Hong Kong and Taiwan. But the newspaper deleted the report from its website the next day, after Chu received warnings from a high level that the Chinese foreign ministry was dismayed, according to a journalist at the newspaper. Neither the newspaper nor Chu responded to requests for comment. Link However, subsequent check from Singapore and overseas locations revealed that the report was still available here: Link

There are no known cases of this occurring. Had there been, and given the state of media competition in Colombia, the affected journalist would have likely revealed the pressure in a rival media outlet. Instead, and as mentioned before, Colombian media openly report negative news, opinions, and editorials on China. The referenced academic article above explores how Colombian media has studied China in both a positive and negative light.

The regime's approach to the internet is no different from its approach toward TV, radio and newspapers. It is deeply paranoid about free media, and its efforts to strangle free speech online are extensive, using both threats and coercive action against journalists and activists who try to work within the country, and blocking many websites hosted abroad. We haven't seen such examples of censorship. There are instances of criticism of China on the pressure: the human rights violations in Uyghur. (see below URL 2) This is important to Bangladeshis as it is a predominantly Muslim nations and some religious scholars criticize China for its handling of Muslims in Uyghur. Some people also critiqued China for its role during the Bangladesh liberation war. (see below URL 1)

So far no such public censoring of voices because there is lack of views critical of PRC/ views about the PRC in general. Medias in Afghanistan are very much concentrated on reporting about conflicts and since the PRC has very low presence in the country it is not reported much.

China is very rarely a subject on the mainstream media, or present on the pubic agenda and the Moldovan Press Status Index for 2021 does not list any such cases. However, media owned by pro-Russian politicians and businessman in general avoid covering stories that portray China in a bad light. This conclusion is based on our previous monitoring of pro-Russian media in Moldova.

No such incident occurred. The thing is that those issues that could be harmfull for the PRC governments (human rights, Tibet, Uygurs, and so on) are issues of no importance or interest in Nicaragua. So there is no media coverage of such issues.

The question was skipped as I do not have knowledge about internal affairs of the editorial process in the media outlets. There no cases known to me of the media in Poland censoring the information on China. The answer could be 0. However the editorial process is an internal affair of media outlet and I could not assume with full certainty that there were actually cases of articles to be blocked or edited in order to avoid the complains or pressure from Chinese embassy or other PRC entities. If the answer to this question can be given considering the uncertainty surrounding the internal editorial process then the answer would be 0, with confidence level 60% and grade for effort = 3.
